  • Steve Jakubcanin

    Executive Chairman

    Steve Jakubcanin serves as Executive Chairman of Altocare, bringing deep expertise in healthcare operations, executive leadership, and strategic growth across the care continuum. Steve is also an Executive Partner at Waud Capital Partners, where he leverages decades of experience scaling healthcare organizations and guiding executive teams. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone Healthcare Group, where he led enterprise strategy and operational performance. Prior to that, Steve was Chief Operating Officer at AccentCare, overseeing large-scale operations and advancing the organization’s care delivery model.

    Earlier in his career, Steve held senior leadership roles at Kindred Healthcare, including Senior Vice President, contributing to corporate strategy and operational execution. He has also been actively engaged at the board level, serving as a Board Member of Home Health Care News and as Executive Chairman of Senior Helpers, providing strategic oversight within the home care industry.

    Steve holds a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University.

  • Peter Ross

    Chief Executive Officer – Senior Helpers

    CEO and Co-Founder of Senior Helpers from 2006 to Present. CEO and Founder of Town Square Franchising from 2018 to present. Member of the Board of Directors of the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) from 2008 through 2021. Former President of the Board from 2013 – 2020. Current CEO Member of the Healthcare Leadership Council in Washington, DC. Former CEO and Co-Founder of Doctors Express Urgent Care. Member of the Board of Directors for the New England Conservatory of Music and From the Top. Prior executive positions with ADP, Ernst & Young, and Intuit.

  • Shihwan Chung

    Chief Executive Officer – MedTec Healthcare

    Shihwan Chung is Chief Executive Officer at MedTec, bringing extensive business experience to the company. During his time at the company, MedTec has grown significantly while improving quality and undergoing major process improvements.

    Prior to MedTec, Shihwan was a Principal at Bain & Co, a global strategy consulting firm. During his time there, he focused on helping his clients grow EBITDA through organic growth strategy, commercial excellence, cost management, organizational optimization and capability building. Earlier in his career, Shihwan was a buy-side equity analyst at UBS Financial Services where he covered multiple sectors and had a strong record of delivering above-market returns. He also learned the key drivers for companies that outgrow their industries as well as what investors look for in companies and their management teams. Shihwan holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an AB from Dartmouth College. He also serves on the boards of the National Adult Day Services Organization and the Illinois Adult Day Services Association.

  • Peter Rogone

    Chief Financial Officer

    Peter Rogone is Chief Financial Officer at Altocare, bringing over 15 years of finance and healthcare related experience. Prior to Altocare, Peter served in various senior finance roles with Cornerstone Healthcare Group, a diversified post-acute care company operating 25 locations across seven states. Following the successful sale of Cornerstone to a strategic buyer, Peter joined with Waud Capital Partners to assist in the formation of Altocare. Earlier in his career, Peter worked in the Healthcare Investment Banking groups of Lazard and Credit Suisse. There he assisted in buy and sell side acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, bankruptcy restructurings and equity and debt capital raises. Peter holds a BS in Corporate Finance and Accounting from the Bentley University.

  • Mark Steinberg

    Chief Accounting Officer
    Mark Steinberg

    Mark Steinberg serves as Chief Accounting Officer of Altocare, where he oversees accounting, tax, treasury, audit, and financial reporting functions. He also serves as Chief Financial Officer of Senior Helpers, an Altocare subsidiary, and is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s financial management.

    Prior to joining Altocare and Senior Helpers, Mark spent more than 25 years as a partner at regional and national accounting firms. In this role, he advised healthcare clients on complex audit and accounting matters, internal controls, fraud investigations, regulatory compliance and reporting, and third-party reimbursement. Mark has also been a frequent speaker to business and industry leaders, presenting on topics including new accounting standards, fraud prevention, government compliance, and strategies to maximize reimbursement.

    Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Patti, and their two adult children. He can often be found at the beach or on the golf course.

  • Mike Todd

    Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel

    Mike Todd serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Altocare, leading all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions across the organization’s platform. Mike Todd has been a trusted business advisor for over 20 years working as a General Counsel for national franchises, businesses with over 10,000 employees and for small, local/regional businesses. He first began working with Senior Helpers as a franchise owner in Arizona. After selling his business in 2009, Michael served as General Counsel in a consulting capacity for Senior Helpers, joining the organization as Chief Compliance Officer and full- time General Counsel in 2024. Michael’s legal experience covers nearly all legal issues that businesses face including contracts, employment, mergers/acquisitions, litigation management, and intellectual property. He is a graduate of Utah State University and Florida State University School of Law.

  • Mike Chumley

    Chief Information Officer

    Mike Chumley is the Chief Information Officer at Altocare, leading enterprise-wide IT strategy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance across all divisions of the organization. Mike Chumley joined Senior Helpers in 2012. With over three decades of expertise in IT and business management, his primary focus has been on driving business growth and process enhancement through effective technological solutions. Mike specializes in business process re-engineering, capital project management, software system design, multi-vendor system integration, and resource planning. He is responsible for overseeing robust data protection protocols and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations, safeguarding sensitive information across all business operations.

  • Griselda Turner

    Chief of Staff, Operations and M&A

    Griselda Turner serves as Chief of Staff, Operations and M&A at Altocare, where she partners closely with executive leadership to drive enterprise strategy, operational execution, and merger and acquisition functions across the organization from diligence to post-close operations. Prior to Altocare, Griselda served as Chief of Staff and led the Project Management Office at Cornerstone Healthcare Group, where she also directed diligence and integration efforts related to the company’s transaction with Scion. Earlier in her career, Griselda built her foundation in consulting, advising organizations on strategy, operations, and process improvement. Known for her collaborative leadership style and approach to execution, Griselda drives clarity, accountability, and results in support of Altocare’s mission to deliver exceptional care.
